Tour 

We, at Trantham’s 12 Aprils Dairy, are proud to announce that we are offering a full tour of the farm and creamery. The farm has been operating now for 30 years and people often have requested to be able to come and see what it takes to run a dairy.  Since we bottle our own milk, we are able to offer more to see than on most typical dairies. We also offer strawberry picking when they are in season.

We are the only bottling plant in the world located in a Harveststore silo. Your group can actually see the “Got Milk” process from beginning to end.  Our tours are sure to be educational with a touch of good ol’ farm fun! 

We will start the tour with a trolley ride around the 100-acre farm where you can see our lush grazing paddocks.  Next we will introduce you to one of our Holsteins and hopefully see a new baby calf. Then we will take you through the milking parlor where our “girls” work.  Lastly we’ll take a look at the Creamery where the milk is bottled and sold.  We will then provide a sample of Happy Cow Creamery milk. 

We’re excited about what’s going on at Trantham’s 12 Aprils Dairy. We hope you will come and let us share what we feel will be a field trip your group will talk about for a long time. 

Tours are available April - October. There is a $5 fee per person.  
Strawberries are available for picking usually starting in May. There is an additional fee to purchase the strawberries.

At this time, we are unable to schedule tours through e-mail.
