A Little History

The farm has been in operation since 1979. It became what it is today not just because of hard work and dedication, but because of a love for nutrition and a love for the animals that provide us with one of the most nourishing beverages there is—milk!

Sadly, in an area that used to have many dairy farms, we are the last in Greenville and Pickens County. We low-temp pasteurize and bottle our own milk; therefore we are able to offer more to see than typical dairies. We are also proud to be the only bottling plant in the world located in a Harvestore silo.

What to Expect

During our hour-long tour, your group will take a trolley ride to see our lush grazing paddocks. You’ll also see our milking parlor where our “girls” work. Your guide will tell you the story behind Happy Cow Creamery and how with a touch of hard work and a lot of God’s grace we are able to offer our community healthy, fresh, and affordable products.

Of course, a sampling of our milk will be offered before the end of the tour. A single-serve ice cream is also included for all paying attendees. If one single serve isn’t enough there will be extras available for purchase for $1 inside the Happy Cow Creamery store.

Bring your own cooler and we'll fill it with ice for free so you can shop and keep your items good and fresh.

Our hope in offering tours is to educate our community about the importance of local agriculture and maybe even spark an interest in farming in our youth!

By the end of the day, your group will leave our farm with a complete understanding of the concept “From Grass to Glass”. The tours are sure to be educational with a touch of good ol' farm fun! So come join us and let us share what we feel will be a trip your group will remember for years to come!
