Large Group Tours
Here at Happy Cow Creamery and Trantham 12 Aprils Dairy, we are proud of what we do. For over 12 years we have offered tours to educate young and old alike about what we do and who we are. We love our farm and we want to be able to share that love with you through our tours.

TOUR SEASON: Runs late March – November, weather permitting. The majority of available dates for Large Group tours are Monday – Friday. While a Saturday date may be inquired about, it is less likely that we will have availability on those dates.

TOUR LENGTH: Approximately 1.5 hours

BOOK A TOUR: Send us your info on the Tour Request Form below to request a reservation, then we'll be in touch to confirm availability and to secure your reservation.

COST (2021): $8 each for each individual 3 years of age and older. This includes a single serve ice cream in either chocolate or vanilla, and milk samplings. Children 2 years old and under and teachers tour for free (1 free teacher per 20 students), but do not receive free ice cream. Extra ice cream cups are available for purchase for $1 each inside the Happy Cow Creamery store.

LARGE GROUP RULES:
We require a minimum of 20 paying attendees, or a minimum payment of $160. If your number of attendees is below 20 paying people upon your arrival for your tour, you will be expected to pay the minimum fee.
The tour itself lasts about an hour, but if you are a group of more than 60 your time with us will be increased. This is due to limited space on the trolley portion of the tour and the need to split the group into rotations. During “downtime” the members of your group who are not on an active part of the tour will be able to relax in our picnic shelter. There are a few lawn games that the tour staff can provide to help pass the time!

NOTE: Please note it's unlikely that you'll be able to book a tour for same day or the day after you request a reservation. Please plan on scheduling tours at least a week in advance. Tours must be booked and confirmed in advance. Please do not show up at the farm expecting a tour if it has not been pre-scheduled and confirmed.
Please note that our tours are outdoors and dependent on weather conditions.
